check your tps.. See what kind of fp you getting.
Did you gap your plugs correctly? Its even possible that it can be a boost leak or even the cas.

:picardfp: go buy a spark plug gaper from autozone and ask them how to gap plugs. pretty scary that you have an sr20 but don't know how to gap plugs.

I have sort of the same issue with my SR20DET black to. When i floor it, the car won't really move. its like a choking motion. i changed spark plugs and new MAF but still won't work.

Yeah my car isn't fast like it use to be. Like it's not getting enough juice in it to move. Like my rpms mov slowly up.

So your sr is sputtering? And you checked out everything? Make sure you dont have any loose or broken connectors. Also, make sure your engine has clean and extra ground points. After you are 100% that you verfied everything else checks out (trouble codes on ecu, maf, connectors, vacuum leaks, spark gap, cas, ect) and you have real good ground connection is time to move on to that million dollar question.
This is for any newbie so dont take it offensive. The most overlooked part on the sr which I dont excpect the average person to figure it out, is your ignition. I can tell you that the sputtering issue is not from your spark plugs. I dont know why this is the first thing they tell you to change or check. I had my sr for a long time and never had an issue with spark plugs. Make sure your cas and igniter check out. Test them. make sure they are not boken in any way and that the connectors are good again check ground. Now its time to tackle down the real problem. Coil packs. check for cracks on them. Ohm test them. You will find one or to with high resistance probably. Even if they check out good replace them. Dont be a cheap ass and replace one and dont be that noob and try to buy them used. Fork out the cash for a brand new oem set or splitfires set. The problem wont go away with replacing one or two or three. They all need to be replaced at once. These are 15 to 20 year old motors that will require maintenance. This is a freebie. Not to many people will help you out on that. Also its been covered before on Nico and zilvia so maybe you can google it before you post.

boost leak?a bad boost leak will cause maf to read wrong and sputter and that may be the "juice" thats missing. google homemade boost leak tester and build one for ten bucks.
