Smoke coming out of intake filter.

Was driving my car on the interstate when all of a sudden my motor started bogging down so I brought it to a complete stop. There's white smoke coming out of my intake filter and my car won't turn on. FML. Car wasn't overheated or anything and I have no idea what could have caused this. Currently stranded on the side of the road.

Checked the oil, wasn't milky or anything, also checked the spark plugs and they look fine so it's not like water got into the motor or the plugs are dirty. Also no oil near the head of the motor so doubt it's the head gasket. Some of the foam came off the intake filter might have come off and been sucked in since the smoke was coming out of the filter. If this is the case what can I do?

I'm guessing the turbo took a shit on you may wanna check if it has shaft play also may have blow seals

Thanks for the response. No real way to check for that still stuck on the side of the road. Hopefully its something a bit more simple. If that is the case though I do own a bigger turbo so at least I have an excuse to use it now.

No wah to tell yet, going to tow it to my house (wasnt in town when it happened and didn't have aaa ) and do a compression test as well as check the head for damage. So far the spark plug in cyl 3 was impossible to get out and when it did came out it was melted.
