Naaaaaaaw! A typical idiotic remark. You don't fuckin think google would help you? You must really be stupid. Obviously if you used your brain you would've found answers. So I ask you on here why do you want to be spoonfed information that is literally right in front of you and not be a dumbass like you.

Engine Changes
Engine changes are legal as long as the following requirements are met to ensure that the change does not increase pollution from the vehicle:
The engine must be the same year or newer than the vehicle.
The engine must be from the same type of vehicle (passenger car, light-duty truck, heavy-duty truck, etc.) based on gross vehicle weight.
If the vehicle is a California certified vehicle then the engine must also be a California certified engine.
All emissions control equipment must remain on the installed engine.
Vehicles converted to 100% electric drive, with all power supplied by on-board batteries are considered in compliance with the engine change requirements. All fuel system components must be removed prior to inspection. For additional information contact the ARB helpline at (800) 242-4450
Or you have a "friend" that "smogs" your LS swapped car. DUH. It's the same rules from the past 10 years ago.

But on a less childish note, Falkon was being nicer than your average forum member.
Zilvia is full of information. Google has even more information. While you've stated that you've searched, if Falkon was able to post information regarding the LS swap in compliance to California laws, you obviously didn't search hard enough. If you knew how to search efficiently, you would have found a build thread that was created by the editor-in-chief from Modfiied Mag (RIP).
Here in Zilvia, it never ends well for the babies that want to be breast fed information.

Op you're a fucking whiner.
If you seriously couldn't find the answer by using the search button, let alone google, then you have absolutely no business trying to do something as involved as modifying a car. I'd suggest you stick with play-doh.

Carb legal ls1
Not that complicated was it? Brings up nice links to tons of legit information including the articles by Peter Tarach. Don't even have to go all the way to the next page.
Encouraging the stupid to remain stupid is not something we do well here.

In half a year when everyone's searching on how to do an LS swap carb legal this worthless thread is going to pop up. Half the threads I find about the topics I search are full of people telling the OP to search. It's equally OP's fault as it is the people replying with pointless posts. Good job.

Noooooooo, it's all on the OP
These are easily searched topics. It took this guy longer to type that post than it would take to search on google, and he would have got more accurate and useful results. Instead he created another useless thread, which, like you said, will just show up and be useless when someone is trying to search this topic in the future. I'm hoping mods start going through and completely deleting threads like this, just to refine the context.
