What 6 bolt axles are you using? I assume its 1995+ j30, but is it one driver/passenger? or is it two of one side?

Ok, well just found out j30 and s14 axles are the same length.

I'm using the factory S14 axles... They are identical to the S15 axles. S13 6bolts will work too. Apparently you haven't done as much homework as you thought, this is basic knowledge.

So then what car had 5x1 axles?
Early J30's, Z32's, R-chassis and some JDM S-chassis had the 5bolts.

im using my stock S13 axles, no reason to change them. they mate to the OEM S15 output shafts just fine.
but keep in mind with the S15 HLSD, you MUST use OEM S15 output shafts as they are 29 spline... all other nissan output shafts are 28 spline which ARE NOT compatable. the only car the 29 spline shafts came in was the S15 i believe (i dont think nissan used HLSDs in anything else)

Some R-chassis had helicals as well.

Some R-chassis had helicals as well.
IF they came in the GTRs (which im fairly sure only came with VLSD units), then theyre 5 bolt output shafts and will require different axles. OEM S15 output shafts bolt directly up to OEM 6 bolt S13 and S14 axles.
