the long one is the speed sensor. i don't remember what the other one is but i think the plug only fits one of the sensors

So the actual sensors are missing? If you have them, they should be really easy to find when you're under the car.. they stick out. They're bolted right onto the tranny. Use KA sensors if you dont have the SR sensors.

I'd probably need a picture to compare em and see what kind of sensor it is.

I hope these pics help at all, good luck

I used these images myself in order to put the sensors in the right place... i dont remember if the plugs all would match up with all the sensors, which would add confusion... i dont think they do though. But if they do, hopefully you didn't mix them all up hehe

I think you need at least the neutral sensor on there too because iirc, it is used in adjusting idling when you are in neutral... not sure if it's true, but if you're really curious, try not using it

The plugs will match. Ill take a pic of where the speed sensor goes for you later today. Should be really near where the shifter is, just that it's on the bottom/side of the tranny

Most people simply use their KA tranny harness when they swap. Basically you correlate the sensors off the KA and swap it into the SR tranny. ANd since your using the sensors off you KA and using the KA harness...everything will bolt up. For my S14...I had 4 sensors off my KA but only needed 3 in the SR. SO i had and extra plug off the KA harness which i just tied up and stashed up there.

As for the speed sensor, iirc...its one of the set of 2 plugs on the rear on the bottom that has a rounded hump on it.

aright you know what, you make a good piont, i dont think i took the ka sensors off the ka tranny, well iirc , if thats located near the rear then i havent looked for that yet, then i should find that tomoro, as far as the other one i dont no

related question:

do these plugs have some kind of washers or rubbing bushing? I can't remember if they had them when I had them out. ALL my plugs leak, some pretty bad. Any ideas? Thanks
