Hey guys I have 2jzge swap in my s14 and my hood does not shut I think it's hitting the front of the engine... what is the best way about getting the hood to close and shot properly? .... I'm thinkin gnome I may be able to just use some pacers in the back any recommendations?

You could go the hood vent route. Cutting squares and riveting are pretty easy.

What mounts are you using???? Mine shuts fine without spacers. But I still put some spacers to keep it cool.

I personally like the oem look as well but unless you get a front facing intake manifold then you dont have a whole lot of options. good luck buddy!

Oh my bad I read it wrong. Thought it said 2jzgTe lol my bad . But yeah that stock intake manifold should be the problem. On my sc300 its fine but yeah i put my sc and s14 side by side and it looked like whoever runs a 2jzge with stock intake manifold should go with a side one.

It won't just bolt up. Modification is required. I wonder if someone makes and adapter plate for this? If not, i'll look into it.

You are talking about the throttle body right. Because I reat the jdm umm per intake mani will fit just need to do a little port matching. The usdm one they say don't fit at all.
