Hey guys my friend has a kade in an s13. We used a single cam #11 ecu and maf, stock injectors, Single cam intake. It has been rebuild and was running fine then out of no where it started running so rich it was spitting fuel out the exhaust.

I checked everything as far as I know. TPS funcntion was tested and set to .45 volts. There is a code 41 which is AIT sensor but it ran fine like this before. Also a code 21 pops up once in a while which is "miss in primary ignition coil" we replaced the ignition coil and it ran fine but now its missing again and seems to be firing on one cylinder.

We checked the injectors,mechanical/dizzy timing, spark, plugs, and wires. Replaced the CTS, 02, Ignition coil, new dizzy rotor and cap, new wires, new plugs. I'm starting to think he might either has some bad wiring in his harness that blew out his coil again or a bad ecu.

Could he put a dohc harness on, change the maf, ecu, intake manifold, dizzy? We are by no means uneducated when it comes to these motors but we are out of ideas.

Fuel pressure regulator failure could cause very high fuel pressure. Check fuel pressure?

we swapped of for another and it did the same thing. I keep telling him to get a gauge.
