For those of you that have seen my car should i put a wing on it. I think it could pull it off, but ehh...
Anyways my friend bobby gave me an old school top secret wing, its tall, with carbon side pieces, and black aluminum blade.

Yay or nay

Set it on the car, if YOU like it, keep it, if not, EBay it. It's really up to your personal taste.

Genuine Top Secret?! wow. Use it for a super nice paperweight. Blade GT wings look dumb now. it's all about 3D Banana GT wings!

A wing is the wrong answer. 14.5 looks good wingless but thats just me...

Will the wing bring in more sponsor dollars?

Put up pics, some cars look nice with certain wings. I am sure you have a flashy body kit, I guess I would have to see the car to decide.

man, just get another trunk lid, then you can have your wing on there and you can switch it out when you dont want to look at it.

Your car looks nice and clean the way it is. A low profile wing wouldn't look bad. I still say it's up to your personal choice.

all good points. decision is getting tougher now. :bash: :squintd: :wtc: ;)

no wing

I was going to suggest the C-West or GP Sports mini wing...however it does not flow with your rear bumper.

btw...clean car

wow I'm surprised noone has said "You should think for yourself." "Learn how to think on your own" "Blah Blah Blah noone can ask anyones opinion around here because that means you can't use your own brain"

Ok sorry about that....I say no wing!

couple things:

-the car looks very nice and VERY clean, why screw it up with a wing?

-your car is YOUR artwork. you think da vinci asked if he should make the mona lisa laughing?

advice is what we want when we know what we should be doing anyways.

Actually that's pretty much what I said in both my posts, just wasn't an :mrmeph: about it. I gave my opinion but at the same time said it was his own choice.

Anyway though, if you want more opinions, show a pic of the spoiler as well.

I would rather go wingless, the S14's ass looks so much cleaner without a wing. At most get the C-West mini spoiler like 95koukis14 suggested above. Oh yeah, nice car.

He said it was tall, with an aluminum blade and carbon fiber sides. Most (if not all) of us would not want to see that on that car....or even our own rides.

IMO

[QUOTE=WilloW] At most get the C-West mini spoiler [QUOTE]

Yep. My car is at the painters as I type having the C West mini
wing installed. Pick it up in a few hours.

FWIW, I have a black trunk lid with an OE spoiler if anyone is looking to upgrade from base to SE trim. Perfect condition.

yeah nismo rear bumper =)

ok, here is my 2 koku. having a wing really depends on the flow of the car, the kit it has (especially the rear), and personal taste.

first off, stock s14 rears looks kinda naked and relatively round, both top and bottom slopes towards each other. With the bomex/zenki/gracer aero type rear addons it adds to this effect and kinda makes the rear pointy, in a sense. In that kind of setup, i think a nice, low profile wing like a wangan, sunny styling or GP sport mini wing looks nice. On a full curvy, flowy bodykit like a vertex, a flowy banana GT wing (i guess thats what you call it) blends in very well and adds to the rear without standing out too much.

The nismo rear, on the other hand. Is a whole different story. Its the only rear bumper that makes the s14 rear look boxy, or actually, boxy with round corners. I don't think it really looks right with a roundish wing (GT or otherwise). The only wing that looks good on it is the nismo wing, or no wing at all. BUT the nismo wing does not look right with a strawberry face. You got round, smooth lines up front and boxy, straight lines in the rear.

Also, its your car. but i don't think the nismo rear flow right with a strawberry face or even your sideskirts. A vertex style rear (ie, full rear piece with downward slopping lip) would suit the flow more. But then again, i'm basing this on 2 pictures and my imagination.

i just wanted to add that just because someone asks other peoples opinions does not mean that they dont think for themselves. i know for me, when im making a decision it makes it more interesting to see what other people think. ultimately, i will weigh what has been said and form my own opinion, if i dont have one already.

The car does hella time attacked out with the wing sitting on it, however i think for now i will leave it off until i can locate another trunk lid. Thanks for the input guys, and i was just asking for opinions, not for other people to think for me. :hsdance:

The car looks clean as hell....except for the front bumper. The skirts and rear flow so well with the already-established lines of the car, then then front bumper is a little..."barbaric", if you will. Don't get me wrong, it still looks great IMO. But it needs some balance; maybe a wing on the rear would do that.

Get a K's wing from silvia parts.com or get the carbon fiber version of it. I think the K's wing always looks good.

That wing looks cool, but i think it might look a little weak on a drift only car.

Why shouldnt i buy one.
