Hello Lads, I have been thinking on and off about selling my Supra for some time and have decided to finally post it.
I spent the last year turning this into the Supra that I have always wanted. I make all of my cars into vehicles that you can drive every day, without the usual "high hp/tuner car" problems and that was no different for the Supra. It is a full 2JZGTE swap (not an NA-T) with V160, diff, brakes, everything. It makes 640whp 610wtq and can sit in traffic like any other car. It doesn't run hot, the turbo isn't a lag monster and your leg won't die from a ridiculously heavy clutch. It is something you can use every day. It runs E-85 as it is close to my house but can run 91 safely if you just drive normally (a retune on 91 is easy too if you would like a map switch to interchange fuels). The heater blows hot and the A/C works but is missing one line for it to blow cold.
1995 Toyota Supra, Clean Title California car with a slick top and OE spec aftermarket sunroof. Tags are good for another six months or so and it currently has around 142,xxx miles.
Maintenance: A car that runs is always the most fun so the first thing undergone was the following maintenance (unless otherwise noted all of the maintenance, fabrication, tuning, service and work was done in the last year)
-Timing Belt (full service done by technician at Capitol Toyota)
-Water pump
-All Belts
-Cam Seals
-Front seal
-All fluids
-Crank Pulley
-Spark-plugs
-oil changed regularly with OEM filter
-PMU G-Four $75 brake fluid
-New (~1000 miles) Dunlop ZII’s
-New throw-out bearing
-New transmission seals all around
-New Pilot bearing
-Solid tripod bushings (for shifter)
-Valve-stem seals replaced in 2010
-Metal upper coolant hose
-All intercooler couplers are silicone with T-bolt clamps
Modifications:
-Borg Warner S366 9179 Turbo
-Boosted Labs replica manifold (with slight porting and Spoolin Performance V-band welded on for wastegate)
-Tial MVR44 wastegate (will come with all extra springs, currently has 15psi spring IIRC)
-Spoolin Performance Wastegate dump, level with bottom of car
-Spoolin Performance custom 4” piping from the turbo out. V-band on all connections minus off of the turbo as Borg Warner uses a Marmon flange (same principle)
-HKS TI 4” catback, recently refinished/clean tip and V-band installed
-Spoolin Performance cold side intercooler piping (one-piece to reduce amount of couplers used)
-Trust/HKS (can’t remember) intercooler
-HKS SSQV
-Custom 4” intake with massive K&N filter
-Princess Motorsports stainless steel oil lines for turbo
-AEM V2 standalone ECU
-AEM 3.5 Bar MAP sensor
-Borg Warner Intake air temp sensor with MAC solenoid for ECU controlled boost
-Tuned by Lawrence at LS Fab on the dyno and street for best drivability. Currently runs a straight veggie diet of E-85 but can easily be tuned for 91.
-RC 1200cc injectors
-Dual Walbro fuel pumps in-tank
-Stainless steel fuel lines with inline filter
-Aeromotive Fuel pressure regulator
-New (~600 miles) Southbend Stage 4 Feramic Clutch and pressure plate (replaced all bushing, seals and gaskets while in there)
-Short Shifter
-Dual Electric fans with shroud.
-All “aftermarket wiring” (boost solenoid, fans, mac sensor, etc.) were wired by LS Fab for a clean install. OEM power plugs from the stock twin VSV’s were used to run power for an OE looking install and for shorter runs of wire.
Extras:
-Rare Greddy mechanical boost gauge
-KPH JDM speedo
-New Leather Upholstery (no rear seat belts)
-Clifford Alarm with pager
-HKS turbo timer
-PLX wideband
-Buddy Club driver seat rail for bucket seat (can be included)
-RMM Style lip
-Pioneer double-din screen with DVD player (radio antenna isn’t hooked up)
Suspension:
-Volk GT-U’s (good condition, freshly coated in Ceramic Pro)
-Tein Coilovers
-Cusco front and rear strut brace
-Project Mu G-Four brake fluid freshly flushed
-PLX wideband
Detail:
-Paint has always been cared for but a full paint treatment/restoration was just undergone with ~70 hours gone into it
-Full claybar, cut, polish was completed this month. This detail was followed by the Ceramic Pro Silver package coating. It was applied by the only Ceramic Pro certified shop in California. Ceramic Pro is an extremely hard coating that adds a level of depth and intensity to the paint. This hard coating resists water spots (beads better than nearly any wax), rock chips and even "key marks".
-Wheels, glass and headlights were all coated in Ceramic Pro as well. The headlights also underwent a lens restoration.
-The paint is original and does have a couple blemishes. Someone put a small key mark in the passenger door. Only visible when up close in the right light and the rear left quarter has a small patch of faded paint. Other than those two areas, the paint is incredible and feels like wet glass.
-The interior was also professionally cleaned with a special coating on the leather to keep it looking fresh. Original carpets and floor mats look great, all of which (front and rear) are present and will go with the car. Comes with original roll out trunk cover.
Car will come smogged, professionally washed again and the interior will again be cleaned for a nice transition to a new owner.
Asking $36,000 obo. I am open to trades as well. Just let me know what you have. Nothing beat up though please. Very interested in a tow car, something like a Cayenne S or a drift car plus cash.
