i have a ka24de out my s14. it has a broken head gasket but i have the gasket kit for the motor so you can rebuilt the motor. Also There isn't a timing chain on bcuz I tried rebuilding but then I just bought another motor but I have timing chain for it still so you can just put it on once you change the gasket. i also have the auto transmission with it. i will also include the wiring harness for it and the ecu. ill send pic threw text of motor out the car. Want to let go for 300 or 280. The Ecu is a HU ECU BTW.
Head Gasket kit hasn't been open still in box got from eBay.

This is the problem… some people in the 240 game think KA's are mad awesome, rare, and super great so they think they should be worth a ton of money. When, in reality, they're a slow, underpowered, scrapheap of iron and aluminum...
Yours isn't even complete. It's got a blown head gasket, no timing chain on it and the mileage isn't listed. A good KA with a MANUAL trans should go for around $400-500 depending on mileage. A decent KA alone should go for about $200-300 again, depending on mileage. I bought mine with 130k on it for $200 and I traveled to get it because people near me were insane trying to charge more for ones in worse condition
It's good you dropped your price to $300 but IMO still a little steep. Hope you can unload it because I know they're a pain to keep around. GLWS.
/endrant
EDIT: Just saw that you were including the auto trans with the motor. Depending on condition, $300 is an alright price. You will probably settle for a bit less with a serious buyer.

Yup I'll sell harness. But do you know how to get it through the firewall? If so then you can come get it ASAP. I have all components disconnected and unplugged from ecu. Just have to pull through firewall somehow. and get it through firewall. And I'll let it go for cheap. How much you willing to pay for it?

Naw I just couldn't rebuild it while it was in car. If I take it out b4 soneone buys it then I'll rebuild it nd then sell it but the motor is completely fine. I just got a ls motor and was going to in the first place.

To get the harness through the firewall it helps to have someone on the outside of the car gently pulling on the harness as you feed the clips and wires out. It's a pain since it's tight up behind the hvac stuff. But if you just do a little at a time you'll get it pretty easily. Glws. There's also more clips than just the one to the ecu that come out with the entire harness so be sure you didn't miss any.

yea i know there is more to unplug but i cant find the other plugs since its so tucked behind the airbag crap or whatever it is and its hard me to see back there. you have any pics or forums that shows those extras plugs? all forums are mostly toward s13"s these days and no one would ever do a write up with s14. and ppl say check the manual but that crap doesnt always help.

I'd consider paying 400, shipped. That works out to about 50 bucks for you, and you have to arrange the shipping.
That way, you get more like it's true value, and I get yet another automotive disaster.

It's not that bad actually. But where do you live? I might not do shipping but I'll check.

Well, motor and whatever all bits are possible. Gaskets and whatnot.
But I have no interest in an auto tranny.
