So I took a gamble with a unknown longblock and got burned (extremely low compression lol). Instead of sourcing a new KA, I've decided to just decided to part ways with this project and start over fresh with a different platform. I figured I would post the turbo setup here and see if anyone's interested in a complete ready to run T25 Ka-t setup. The setup will come with the following:
Garrett Sr20 t25 in very good condition with minimal play
OEM sr20 370cc injectors
Apexi SAFC2
Generic bottom mount KA turbo manifold
Sr20 divorced elbow
3 inch downpipe with flex pipe
JGS turbo oil line kit for t25
JDM sport front mount intercooler
Ka intercooler piping kit (fits really well)
T25 turbo inlet and outlet flanges
Old school HKS sr20 intake tube
Oil pan tapped for tubo oil drain
NGK BKR7e spark plugs
MLS turbo gaskets (not those junk gaskets that come with most generic manifolds)
Greddy turbo timer
Greddy rs rep BOV and flange (not installed since I was planning to run no BOV)
Other odds and ends needed to make the setup work.
The setup is complete, all you need to do is bolt it on and go. Most of the parts are brand new and have only been installed since the motor didn't make enough compression to run haha. I'm asking $1000 for everything. It can also come with the longblock as well if you want it, it would need new rings or valves (maybe both) to work though. Again, there is nothing wrong with the setup, I have just decided to go in a different direction. Here's a pic of everything installed on the car:
