I have an S13 with a sunroof. I dont have the sunshade for it. Im looking for some sort of way to black out the glass. I dont ever look up and I have no need to look out through the sunroof. If I do its at night and I take the hole thing out anyway. Just looking for ideas on how I can stop all and any light from coming in through it. I would like to tint it as dark as possible but tint wont stick to it. So Im trying to think of some permanant way I can do it. Any ideas? Thanks for your thoughts.

I would prefer to tint it over anything else but the problem is with all the black mesh Nissan put on the glass tint wont stick well and will end up peeling off.

why not try to find one of the sunroof cover things that came with the car? i know a lot of people still have theirs (like me :)) and they might be willing to sell them (if the price is right), or you could maybe find one in a junkyard. or make your own, i dont imagine thatd be too difficult.

I would really like to get an original sunshade, but both people Ive talked to that were willing to sell theirs backed out. Ive posted in the wanted section a coulpe times saying I want to buy one. As far as right price, thats the other part, no one wants to part with them for a decent price. I wouldnt mind making one but I would want to try and use the original as a template, not to mention the special hooks tha they have to secure them. Dont know where I could get those.
shit ur lucky.....mine dont even work....

i think i may have a sunshade.
e-mail me mr240sx @ H O T M A I L.com (no spaces of course, stupid spam)
and I will see if I can find mine from my S13 days. I know it's around somewhere, but I just moved so it could be anywhere in any box.
If I can dig it up it is yours, just pay for shipping.

If you get a quality tint it WILL stick. THe little triangle windows on the S14 have a lot of that dotted black stuff on it, but my tint sticks well. I really think a high-quality tint will be your best bet.

It will stick to edges fine because the majority of the tint is on strait glass. However if you go to any tint place they will tell you they dont tint them and if they do they dont warranty it. My GF has a Cavy and the top of her rear window has that type of black stuff all over it and they said they wont tint it because it wont stick, and if she wants them to anyway they wont wrrarnty it. Just my experience with Tint shops, maybe they do it around you but here the quality places to get tint wont, and dont like to do it.
