View Full Version : SR20 starts with no fuel, doesn't start with fuel
I have an enthalpy ECU.
Today, i installed another FPR from a nismo adjustable because i didn't have the tool to test the psi.
the car starts because of the flooded cylinders. (with the FP fuse pulled)
but when i put the fuse back, and try to start the car, it just turns over and over.
injectors have been tested and cleaned by dwerks. so they are good.
it's a stock FPR, but i dont feel the likely hood of it being bad is the problem.
any other solutions?

Hey dude. I had a similArissue, unplugged fuel pump fuse and it actually started and idled but wouldn't drive. Put fuse back in and it died.
Turned out to be a massive vacuum leak.
So either check ur maf and wiring or boost leak test all your couplers
the car started and ran last week.
i have not messed with any vac lines at all, since then.

Ok do you have the gauge now to see what the psi is while priming?

Do you have a torn Oring on your injectors? That would cause both a fuel and a vac leak... Enough fuel to "flood" the engine.

no, i took it off and put on the stock FPR for that reason.

i have not touched the injectors since last week.
injectors were also sent to dwerks for test flowing and rebuilding.

Ok well you understand a vacuum leak doesn't mean vacuum lines, it means your car is sucking in unmetered air.
And even though it was running last week your symptoms sound like a major vacuum leak.
So once you finish the boost leak test, then you can say that wasn't the issue

Check to make sure you didn't swap the fuel lines
