Hi everyone
As the title suggests.. I'm having some issues yet again. I have a black top Sr20 with blow thru z32 maf.
The idle has never been great- but now it seems to have another issue. On a cold start my car idles fine for the most part however immediately after driving in high rpm under boost the car will slowly start to run with hesitation under load and idle until it will completely die unless I manipulate throttle to keep it alive. I notice also when I watch my FPR gauge as this is happening the pressure raises up and up 3+ bar as the idle drops until it dies. After that happens the car will not start unless I disconnect the coil connector? And crank for a few seconds- re connect and the car will start perfect again until I drive for a few minutes again and the problem repeats itself.
Does this sound like an injector stuck open? A faulty maf? Ugh...
Thanks in advanced everyone. I am determined to not give up on this freakin awesome car because when she's running right.. it's so worth it. Lol

are your running a stock fpr with a guage attached? or an aftermarket fpr.
Its probably not this but i learned that the z32 mafs can be very perticular. I noticed my car didnt pull as hard one day and just felt held back. I had pullled out the intake and the maf out well when i put it back in it wasnt in the same angle as it was lasttime. I rotated it 90* and it made a huge difference. Z32 mafs can be a real pain. Clean it with iso and a qtip really good and rotate it. Might work?

What are you using to tune?

Exactly...how are you controlling every problem you are reporting?

If it's not wiring (being shredded) and it's not mechanical i.e. "Oops! My entire coupling is falling off how did I not notice that leak!" then it's EMS or ECU configuration related....and if it is an EMS then it's usually not setup right let a lone tuned right...
