So with my engine out of my car, i decided it might be nice to change the rubber column bushing to a solid one.
To shortly put it, it was a pain in my ass….
When installing the u joint that connects the rack to the lower steering column shaft, i installed the shaft 180 degrees of what it came out of the car..

Thats how it was before taking it out…. It is now 180 of that. As is the U joint.
I wouldn't figure this is a problem due to the shaft being only a straight piece of metal, and the u joint being able to spin freely in either direction, regardless of how it is mounted.
Will this be a problem?
