hey guys Id like to say im a complete noob when it comes to tuning i dont even know where to start to be quite honest i just want to make my car drivable 5 miles to get to my tuner or atleast enough for it to idle so i can bleed the coolant and make sure nothing is loose before i trailer it to the tuner but as of right now i cant even start it.

i could not even upload the calibration to the EMS because it says my engine is running when it is not, it shows that at 84rpm so i decided to pull the cas plug out and then the rpm dropped to 0 and i was able to upload the calibration but it cranks but the engine does not run.

another problem im seeing is the engine load is at -3psi with the car off shouldnt it be 0? and the Air temp also seems off it says 50F and coolant temp says 64F the coolant temp was close to real outside temperature

here are my mods
180sx redtop SR20DET
-GT2871r
-Tomei Expreme manifold
-Tomei Poncams
-Tomei 740cc inector
-Tomei Rocker arm stoppers
-NGK iridium Spark plugs
-3" turbo back megan exhaust
-Apexi Intake
-AEM 3.5 bar map sensor
-AEM AIT
-AEM boost solenoid
-AEM wideband
-Wireing specialties harness
-walbro 255
-Sard FPR with gauge set to 39psi with out vacuum hooked up

ill email you my calibration if anyone would like to take a look unless there is some other way to host it on here

Sounds like a bad CAS or improper CAS calibration, improper MAP calibration, wrong air temp sensor setting

I tune AEM in Florida, however I charge extra if the vehicle has mechanical or wiring issues.

the SR ran perfect before i took it out for the refresh so its hard to imagine a bad CAS. i did install the AEM cas disc, and i did all the wireing as per AEM i used all the correct pins.
im sure the calibrations are all messed up all i did was load the 6601 base map the only map available for my engine and it uses denso 550 injectors and a GM map sensor so i went in the wizard and changed it but in all honestly im not sure if it was done correctly

alright i sorted most of the problems i was having, you were correct the settings were wrong, i put the right settings and all the values are now correct although it does do the rpm glitch once in a while but not often, the car almost starts sometimes it catches for a second and you hear the exhaust but it dies again and throttle does nothing to help im thinking its a problem with my calibration.

Got to it before I could. Def a CAS problem before. You're still having an issue with Idle? I might be able to help you remotely - email me [email protected]

I would re-do the TPS synch/config and also re-do the lock timing to synch the CAS to the EMS. Hopefully you did this again after correcting the CAS issue and settings.

Thanks

thank you steve it was not a problem with the cas it was an electrical problem i was having earlier that cause the rpm issue i got that sorted out and no longer have the rpm issue

I had similar idle when started engine with AEM for the first time. Check for injectors and spark plugs firing order.
