Ive searched left and right and cant find anyone who has done this. The only reason I ask is because I will have a set very soon, and I am wondering if they can be made to fit, and if so, what do I need? Thanks

This is Hypertek on my friends sn. Anyways, umm I thought about this.. saw a fc at the junk yard.. I was thinking if the strut mounts would line up, just grab teh whole front spindle assembly, would eventually have to run it backwords, but you can always find something for joints. and you would have 5 lug also. Dunno if it would work tho.

Don't know if FC3s's calipers will work from what I know, but if you check out Turbo magazine June 2004, there is a S13/180sx by Team Julius is sporting Porshe brembo 4-piston calipers. But they don't mention what model/year that it got it from. Unless you got a translator and feel like calling Japan (0454) 73-2344. Or maybe if Performance Dealer Options which distributes for Team Julius might know about the specs on the 180sx, (626)856-3601.

I also wonder if their are more then just brakes designed for nissan rwd cars, that our cars can use. Because some GTR's are sporting the brembo Ferrari F50 brake (caliper and rotor iirc) why can't we, not saying I'll be that fast that I'll need that much stopping power. But c'mon I'm looking for an alternative besides the usual 300zx brakes that everybody has done.

anyway, goodluck on mounting the FC3s on your 240.

i know for a fact that, 86's have a conversion kit for fc brakes. expensive tho i think. same thing as any other brake conversion, its all about the brackets.

I think the Brembo calipers use Ferrari pads..

there are porsche brake brackets offered by Glen of www.stillensucks.com lol I saw them on his s13 and damn they're damn sweet. er I think brembo calipers use some standard pads, dunno if they're ferrari specific, but could some common pad that brembos use? The FC's brake calipers will fit if you put on some brackets or something but dunno if they'll bolt up willy nilly.

place the rotors on the vehicle, and bend/weld a bracket accordingly to make the caliper sit right, alot of z people do this with newer brakes. lines you can get no problem, from napa or somewhere

You can pretty much make anything fit with some machined brackets, as already stated. I say be a pioneer and give it a shot.
