I've gotta replace, three bad wheel studs on the rear hub of my 95 240sx. Is there any tricks or guides to help me through this?? I know the caliper has got to come off. any torque specs or loctite needed anywhere or grease??

STRONG HAND .. HAMMER TIME ... I LIKE TO SMASH ..

loosen lug nut
jack up car
remove lug nuts
remove wheel
remove caliper~ do not let it hang by the brake line, rest it on the ruca w/o pulling on the line
remove rotor

studs are bad, so get HAMMER and STRONG HAND then SMASH them ..you're not going to be reusing *duh*
get new studs, insert from the rear
get lug nut and tighten the stud down, it will pull the stud back into the hub
since me like SMASH, me do small gentle SMASH on the back of stud to make sure its in the hub.
do it however more times needed, you done. time to drink a Sobe *trademark*

That's the most hilarious yet still informative post I've ever read.

Torque specs:

...FSM Saaayyys:

Lug Nuts: 98-118 Nm, or 72-87 Ft./Lbs. Tighten in star pattern to make sure the rotor and wheel go back on evenly.

uh...I can't find the specs for caliper removal at the moment. That rear caliper diagram looks like a trainwreck that a plane crashed on.

Kid Zelda has it right. Grab some EAR PLUGS and be violent.

To get them back in I recommend using the brake rotor to center the studs, so they don't pull in crooked. Make sure the studs are all the way in!! Or else you will be doing this again next week. ( sounds like the voice of experience )
