Hi there, definitly new to the car scene, in my second semester of automotive school. I am selling my ford focus that i have owned for 5 years for hopefully about 4.5k. I was wondering if its unrealistic to buy an 89-93 240sx coupe with a running sr20. I dont need turbo in fact i prefer N/A so i can build the engine first.
I dont care about bad paint or dirty interior. I just need a daily driver that runs 99% of the time for at least 20-50,000 miles no major repair.
My dream end result would be a 1990 240sx coupe with a 2jz slapped in it.
For now i understand the amount of money will only get me so far.
So what should i expect or look for for 4.5k?
Ive had an offer of a 91 mr2 turbo with 70kmiles and cleeeean.
