alright, so 2 of them showed up today, and the other 2 will be here tomorrow.
here are the specs
15x6.5 +16 (yeah i know, kinda weak sizes, but i'm poor, the price was right, and i hate my old wheels...not a bad offset though)
they're Heroes Racing mesh..kinda of a small Japanese company...can't really find any other pics of them online.

i should hopefully have pics of them on my car this weekend, but im getting my wisdom teeth out tomorrow :hyper: so i'll be out of commission for a day or two, and i still need to buy some tires.
feel free to compliment/flame/troll/donate money to me...i don't care. i love em no matter what any of you say! :D

bbandit: thanks, i think they will too. i really wish i could drop my car a couple of inches, but i dont really just wanna get new springs for my stock struts, and i cant really afford new (quality) struts right now
thesnail: thanks, and i will be the next 4 years :)
matlock: thanks man. you should check club4ag.com, that's where i found these. the seller was Top1USA, they get a bunch of JDM wheels in, and i think he said his new shipment comes in june. very nice guy and easy to deal with. check them out.

I used to live on campus for 10years (Nimits st , student housing), lol. I moved a while ago but my bro decide to go to school there for a year three years ago. I used to go to happy hallow, dont know if you know what that is. Near campus, do they still have the red and white checkerd water tower? West Laff is nice fun little town, just stay away from the riots, lol.

awesome man. i really love the campus and its surroundings. ive grown up in a Purdue family, and last i was up there (october last year) the water tower was still up there. happy hallow rings a bell, ill be up on campus next thursday-saturday, so i'll have to check that stuff out and get back to you.
Congrats... nice meshies... everyone now seems to get some. :D

thanks. and yeah, it seems to be the wheel of choice on S13s, but i can see why. i personally think mesh or watanabe style wheels look the best (i wish i had jumped on your nismos sooner), and these were the first ones that came along at a reasonable price.

I grew up there, It is very nice, my dad was teaching at Purdue and my mom graduated from purdue. I go back every once a while, its hard to stay away from that place. I'll ask my bro where the" places to go" are for the students then I will let you know. You will have much fun, and when the 4 years are up, you will be filthy rich.

It was awesome. He kept in touch with me throughout the whole thing, he was very friendly, his emails were always very prompt, and he really makes it seem like you're his only customer. It was probably the easiest internet buying experience I've ever had, and I wouldn't hesitate to do business with him again. i give him: :bigok:
when he found out i had an S13, he even sent me pictures of a 240 that a guy he works with just got. anyways, i'd definitely reccomend that anyone give him a shot.

They're hot bro (although Watanbe RS8s are hotter). Ignore the haters, anybody driving a DSM is in no position to critique your choices for your car since they own a rolling dog-turd.

I don't really get the deal with mesh wheels, but I do respect people's tastes as long as it's clean.
Btw, is that a jdm S14 wing on your car?
nocomedown
06-11-2004, 10:39 PM
dvdevo - i'd love to lower it, but seeing as i just bought new wheels and im also saving up for college, that wont be happening anytime soon. unless someone would like to be kind and donate some new struts and springs to me :naughty:
turdz - i dunno what it is about meshies, i just think they look awesome on S13s...maybe an acquired taste? but the wing is actually a replica of the 180sx kouki wing that came stock in japan. i've also got the kouki 180sx taillights on there too.

I agree that meshies is an acquired taste. especially for the S13 crowd! :)
