i have a 240sx s13 redtop sr20det powered my clutch went out about 2 weeks ago and i ordered an exedy stage 1 to replace it i got it all hooked up and when i cranked it up i started hearing the grinding noise from the transmission the only problem i ran into when putting everything togther was when i was install my throwout bearing the one that exedy gave me was different then the oem sr20 one this is my first clutch job so bear with me a buddy of mine told me to install the race side (the side that spun) away from the pressure plate was he wrong? and if so i only ran it for a week like that would i possibly be good to drop the tranny flip the tob over the other way and put it back up or should i get a new one

last question is if i do have to get a new one do i have to use the ka24de or the ka24e throwout bearing because i have done extensive research on this and some pages say use the ka24e and some say use the ka24de please comment if you know for sure not if you think you know thanks and have a good day

Ps also for some reason my slave cylinder blew out twice this week ? if that helps
