low on gas?

i have a question for all the s14 drivers out there. well i've had my car for about a year now and my light to indicate low fuel has never come on. i've driven while the gas needle has been below E before and no light has come on. i was wondering if my light is broken or did s14's even come with the warning light?

With gas prices around hovering around $2.70-~$2.30, I've been driving my car till the low-gas light indicator turns on. You just have to keep driving it.. it'll turn on. Don't be afraid to drive it pass "E", once that light goes on, you'll have about 18 miles or so, give or take.

there is one but mine hardly ever comes on, but when it does i get some gas because the needle is way below E.

yeah the needle will go way past e like almost an 1/8 of a tank before the ligth comes on

i've never seen mine come on before. i only drove on low gas once... the needle NEVER stopped dropping until it was pointed almost straight down. i finally got scared and bought 5 bucks of really crappy gas. ever since i've filled up at 1/4 to empty.

I've gone 1/4 tank below E. Many, many times. The gas light has a few ways of comming on. First, it will be the faintest glow, only visible at night. Forget that. Then it will be a very faint glow visible in the daytime. From there, I have gone 40 miles. About 20 miles into the trip, the gas light was on full brightness.
I've never ran out of gas... but I've coasted into many gas stations.

^^^ lol i do that all the time, i know its not good but im a broke ass. i usually get about 40-50 miles below E!!! w00t one time i came close to dying though. it was when i was waaaaay past E and i was looking for a gas station. it died right when i got there.

i don't know if there is any difference in the gas light thing between the s14 and the s13 but my s13 seems to have the same thing and i have driven a long time under E to test the light after awhile under E and still no seeing the light i got nervous and went to the gas station and according to the pump i put in a little over 16 gallons

mine goes under E alot but i think my light is broken for sure

that what i was doing until i chickened out and filled up cause my s13 it 14+ years old and i have some doubts on things that still function.
