alright now how much do you think it would be to cut off my damaged panels and get new ones put in from a body shop? (labor = welding and cutting already bought parts)

You can allways get wider fiberglass ones to cover up the damage :coolugh:

i need to do something like that but im gonna try it myself. i only need to cut out a section and some metal behind it. i tried to heat it up and push it out but it was a horrible idea. but i can cut and weld we shall see.

Have you considered buying another 240? I'm afraid how much it may cost to repair correctly. If over 1k, you can definitely find another S13 to swap your gear into. No?
Let us know what you decide.

I was almost going to do this but Im unemployed so I didnt know how much it would cost to get welded.. Me and a friend borrowed a portible chizzle saw from some guy at a junk yard and where cutting the rear quater out.. had about 70% cut but couldnt cut thru the hard areas. I woulda also went thru with this, but didnt know how much someone would charge just to weld it in (im sorta cheap, id rather do shit then pay someone else) haha.

This is the other possibility... but im not really good at reassembling things like that. Another of the options im considering is going to East LA or Tijuana and get some cheap (totally not safe) body work done. itll just be for looks and wont do anything good on impact but i just want the car to look good again. a local reputable body shop said any shop that has anything going for it wont do it because of liability issues, now if i were to go to a hurting shop they would do it with an incentive such as 300 bucks labor.
