So this is my first post on zilvia. But im swapping a redtop sr20 into my 92 hatch. The car right now is an automatic ka24de. Is there any special things i will have to do considering the car is automatic? ive searched around but couldnt really find any straight up answers. appreciate the help

What exactly is your question?
There are a ton of posts about it:

I love it. No there is not much "extra work" and most people seem to think there is- you hear this all the time "I would buy the 240 but its automatic..."
They don't deserve to own a 240sx. All you really need to do is pop in a clutch pedal, master, and a line- and disable the neutral safety switch.
Just dont cheap out on the hole saw. Do it right, get the proper size, protect your face and carpet, and have at it. Also, dont bother installing a new brake pedal. Just cut the existing one to your taste. You can use a manual brake pedal rubber cover as a template if you want.
