All good things must come to an end, right? I believe it is that time for me and my beloved 240sx. I will always have a soft spot for 240's and recommend them to anyone looking for a fun, affordable car.
If you care to read the more involved story, it is attached below. The short of it is that I pulled this car out of a junk yard when I was 16 (9 years ago) as I was seeking a parts car for the other 240 I owned at the time. When I got it home and jacked it up in the garage, I noticed that the undercarriage was significantly cleaner and more free of imperfections than my current daily. After making this discovery, it was not difficult to determine which of the two I would provide with my love and attention. For the following year, my dad and I built it up with engine, trans, suspension, brakes, wheels/tires, interior, and exterior goodies. Once we had done so, we got a reconstructed title from PA on it to make it street legal. The car remained unchanged for a number of years until I graduated with my undergraduate degree and as a gift to myself, paid to have an sr20det swap done to it + supporting mods. This was done by Jon at Street Solutions. Since then, I have purchased new wheels (in pictures) and tires (less than 200 miles seen) in addition to a Q45 front brake upgrade with stainless lines, etc. I have also recently paid to have the fenders professionally rolled. As a result of the rolling, there was minor paint chipping. I have paint from the paint job years ago which I intended on using to touch up once the weather warmed up.
This car was never a daily driver and was treated with respect for its entire life under my ownership. It was never tracked, auto-x'd or drifted; only occasional spirited drives with friends.
The link below should provided you a fairly complete list of modifications done to this vehicle. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns.
