Are both of these turbos direct replacements for my T25 on my red top SR20DET? Just want to make double sure they'll fit with no modifications to the manifold, elbow, or coolant/oil lines.

Since you have a T25, think you still need a turbo reclocking kit so your stock inlet and outlet will line up.

Then you'd still need a T28/GT drain tube.

why have I not heard much of that? The GT2871r is an extremely common turbo upgrade correct? I have heard that you may need a restrictor but if you don't it just burns oil and doesn't hurt anything. And that you can clock the turbo to get all the parts to line up correctly.
