eh..Turbo H22 swaps....there gettin old..I think everyone see's the same thing out of all those swaps.

I dont think hondas are homos.. the owners maybe.. some of em.... but the honda itself is pretty well-built stock. I like em especially like the one up there.
A friend of mine ran 13.1 with his stock b16a boosting 10psi...
So yea lets not hate, we're all car enthusiasts :)

K20A in a civic hb is a crazy swap like a RB into a 240

both swaps need new custom mounts

that's just discoloration from heat. any polished (maybe chrome or stainless, i don't remember)manifold will do that. it is pretty nice though, full mandrel bends, not pieced together elbows like most of the stuff for our cars.

i kinda actually like this civic... (and i'm not a big fan of them myself) , but it seems like he put alot of work into it. thats what counts, and the motor is quite impressive.

just be grateful its not another ricer with a large terminator wing. (although i do think it'll look better if he gets rid of those fenders)

i would love to know why you justify a civic as a peice of crap....And you think a neon is good!!!!! Why do you think civics that are 15 years old dont sell under 1500$ with 350000+ miles on them? and dont say becasue of the import scene, becasue thats maybe 3% of the market, Civics, and any other honda in general, are excellent cars. Motors are way overbuilt, the trannys are way over built, hell there diffs. are way overbuilt, the cars are excellent peices of machinery. You are just stuck on the fact that it happened to be what alot of high schoolers got when they got there license so thy put these big wings and fart cans and stickers that were glorified in The Fast and The Furious.
get over your stupid ricer accusations, and face the truth, you may not like the car, but they are not peices of junk, crap, shit, bile, whatever you want to say....

i never said that civics were unreliable or crappily engineered. i said i did not like them and feel them to be pieces of crap. sure, you could make em look different, make em RWD, and give em a better interior but by then you'd have replaced the car. i see more about the car that i hate than i like, thus, it sucks to me.

Because according to our man here, performance cars with lots and lots of compromises for streetability, cost, and mass production are okay, as long as one compromise out of many isn't a lack of powered rear wheels.

Seriously... unless you're building a Formula One race car, you really have no leg to stand on when you say building any particular street car is a "waste of time". We all work within the constraints of our budgets, our practical needs, and our knowledge. From there we choose a car that fits our preferences.

We're all building cars with flexible production frames and heavy steel bodies. Our suspension systems are designed as much for low cost and space efficiency as they are for handling. Our fenders are barely wide enough for 9" wide tires. We have four cylinder engines designed more for emissions and economy than power.

FF sure as hell isn't optimal, but neither is all that stuff.

Unless you've got a formula car or sports/racer, you've just got a bucket of compromises.

Props to the Civic, even though I prefer the B-series to the H22, and the cosmetics aren't my taste. It looks a nicely built car, engine-wise.

And yeah I read that. Funny how most honda owners dont look at 240s as being fast unless it has an rb or a sr with a huge turbo in it. O well, Ill change that once Im finished swaping in my CA. ;)
