My friend's S13 just got stolen out of his driveway less than 30 min. ago... He chased the guy, but lost him.

yah it was my car that was stolen...it wasnt for sale thats the pictures of the car befor i bought it... It has a 4 point roll cage to... IF you know about the car please please call me at 818-633-0566... I chased this guy and he knew very well how to drive an SR20 240 thats been modified....And like we all know its not easy to just steal a greatly modded 240 and then drive down narrow streets with a benz chasing you and not hit something.

wow way to be a prick, the car was pretty heavily modded which clearly took a lot of time and money, its not just the car thats gone, its all the time and money that went with it. I would hate to have my car stolen like that and then worse to chase it down and not catch the guy. i really feel for the owner of the car. after working on a car like that you definitely form some kind attachment to it; like its your own kid...so even if you do buy another one its still not the same. i hope the owner finds the guys who did it and hopefully his car.

Yah i am the owner of the car...the car in the photo shoot is our friends JD... my car is slightly more modded then his car... What was left out in the original thread is I have a 4 point roll cage, HID head lights, Charge speed wide body... I just put the wide rear quarter panels on... so the car is all primer black but the carbon S15 hood and the rear quarter panels that are white... as for it being a car just buy another one...WELL after spending over 25k in a car and putting hours upon hours of your time into it you feel kinda attached to the car...maybe you dont know what that means.... cough cough... anyways.... I chased the fool cause its my car and you would to...I am sure if you could u just wouldnt stand there and be like oh wells... And I almost had him... he went down a dead end street and I was driving a C class rental car So i was going to box him in... Only problem is I am so used to manual cars I wasnt able to throw the car into reverse fast enough and thats how he got away...
Also to let you know I did have a removable steering wheel and this might sound odd but last night was the first night I ever left the wheel in the car... I am so down right now its not even funny... and Insurance OMG my insurance hasnt added all my modds to the insurance list yet so i might only get a few grand for my car IF I AM LUCKY.... Thank you all that care.... This is the worse day of my life.. I hope no one ever ever has to go through this...

dude, dont trip.. at times like this when things get tough, you have to stop and appreciate the obvious which often gets forgotten. Dont be stupid. Think about your life, your family, your health.. and everything that you DO have. Even if you may not think its much right now, the reality is that you can NEVER trip on material objects because they are not permanent. Be thankful for whatcha got, there are plenty of people who spend their life in and out of the hospital who arent healthy enough to drive. There are plenty of people who dont even have the time or money to do what you do/did.

When people ask me why I fix up my car, I dont tell them because I love the finished product and enjoy working on my car.. I love my car.. or any of that stuff.. I tell them I enjoy honing my skills and learning. The time you spend researching and learning is whats important, the car is SIMPLY a product of it.

So, your car is gone.. for now. Maybe you'll find it, maybe you wont. The point is YOU are still here, and YOU can always rebuild.. should you find the interest and spirit. Yes, it will take time, money, hard work.. but guess what, I am sure it will end up cleaner the second time around.. repetition does that.

Anyway, dont let bitchasses like Trueno pull you lower. I may not like what most people do to their cars, but the fact is.. when someone gets their shit stolen.. or worse, TAKEN from them.. its bad. yah no i wasnt into the whole publizing thing with my car...only have sponsers because of cars i had in the past and they offered to do something for a 240 and asked if they could use my car... And you are very right about me still being here... In august I almost died from being very ill and i value my life... Its just that I was so close to having the car done... And it will take me 3 times as long now because I am going back to school in Fall for my masters and I wont have time to get the funds i had befor to have the work done.... Maybe this time I just do everything my self.... well everything but the swap... Hopefully they find the car.... DAM i wish i didnt clean the suspension parts...they might have thought it was stock trash and left it in the car....arrrggghhhh.... but anyways....thanks for all your concerns... The one time it happened to me, I was lucky enough someone saw them and scared them away before they drove the car off. They had everything apart and were trying to jump start it already so it was real close.

That shit really fucks with your sense of security because it's like nothing is safe any more.

On top of that there is a reason that HOnda's and Acura's topped the most stolen cars list for 10 years plus. Ghetto ass Honda kids who would rather steal their parts than pay the market price for them.

Well i know this for sure... The car is in So Cal.... the car had tension rod, toe rods, foward link, tie rods all from cusco, the Uras rear camber adjustment.... and many other RARE RARE items... SO PLEASE look at the items being sold in your area.... the RIMS are one of like 3 sets in the US... Its so dissappointing... I honestly just cant believe someone has the nerve to do something like this... Why would someone do this... Its pointless...most of the parts are traceable dam near.... ARRRGGGHHHH.... And honestly this wasnt a Honda driver..

The person who drove this car knew how to drive a modified car that handled and moved... and I went back yestruday afternoon to the area i chased him and to be honest the skid marks are text book skid marks for enterning turns... very little rear slip and full power through the turns... never was there a loss of control...

If in the odd chance you spot DriftMotoring's car being driven down the street, (or just parked on the street), best bet is to stay back, lay low & call the police. Tell them you are following a stolen vehicle and give them all the necessary information - license plate, direction of travel, driver info, your current location, etc. Depending upon the 911 operator that takes the call, they may stay on the line with you till a black & white patrol unit is able to intercept the stolen car or a helicopter air ship happens to be overhead. Don't give chase, don't try to pull them over, don't do anything but call 911, You don't want to endanger your life or anyone's else by chasing them. Let the police do that, that's their job. You dont want to open yourself up to any civil liability or criminal charges should you decide to give chase.

And when DriftMotoring's car IS found, be VERY INSISTANT with the investigating detective, (or officer), that notifies you that your car has been found, that the vehicle be "dusted" for fingerprints. Whatever fingerprint evidence the guy who stole your car left behind will be recovered by the print tech dusting your car. (You'll know your car's been dusted for prints when you see either the silver or black fingerprint powder all over your car body & windows). Although the police may be a little slow in investigating your case, (larger agencies take anywhere from weeks to close to a year to search the property crime latent prints recovered from a crime scene - crimes against persons get top priority, rest assured the recovered latent prints lifted from your vehicle will be checked. Just remember to follow up with the detective every so often & ask him/her what the results of the print check turned out.

The person that stole his car MAY think he got away with it, but sooner or later, the shit ALWAYS catches up with him.... That's where my job comes in.....:):):):)

Well i know this for sure... The car is in So Cal.... the car had tension rod, toe rods, foward link, tie rods all from cusco, the Uras rear camber adjustment.... and many other RARE RARE items... SO PLEASE look at the items being sold in your area.... the RIMS are one of like 3 sets in the US... Its so dissappointing... I honestly just cant believe someone has the nerve to do something like this... Why would someone do this... Its pointless...most of the parts are traceable dam near.... ARRRGGGHHHH.... And honestly this wasnt a Honda driver..

The person who drove this car knew how to drive a modified car that handled and moved... and I went back yestruday afternoon to the area i chased him and to be honest the skid marks are text book skid marks for enterning turns... very little rear slip and full power through the turns... never was there a loss of control...

Well...let's hope the guy that stole your car focks up & does something stupid that leads to his arrest. If by odd chance the person,(s) that stole your car is part of a "professional" car theft ring then there is little chance of your car being recovered. For all we know, it could be on a cargo ship sitting in a container being shipped to another country like China or Russia - don't laugh, I've seen it happen. Your car may have been taken for that particular reason...it's uniqueness.
Anyhow, let's hope the thieves were stupid and screw up somewhere so you're able to get your car back....hopefully intact.

Your totally right about being shipped to Russia... Its just really pissing me off... I think today when i drove home in my ford ESCORT wagon from work it finally hit me how much that car ment to me... But the chances are that car is so stripped now that the only way to identify it is by the vin number on the frame... I hope and pray i am wrong...maybe the guy got scared when i chased him and ditched the car thinging the heat was on to quick.... I do know the car is in the SVF... the guy didnt bother getting on the freeway at 4am with the car... and that would have been smart to do...especially since there are very few cops on the freeway at that time (could be wrong though)..... If anyone does find the car or find parts of the car or in the next few months notice a new drifter with just a really hooked up 240..let me know...You could be in NY for all I care..... I will definitly Find this guy/girl/boy what ever....
