Okay my car currently has a ka24e and im prepping my sr20 to drop in. I have a complete jdm sr20det harness but im having some trouble. I know you have to cut and extend the o2 sensor cable, maf cables and chassis plugs. But as far as I know the lower harness if is the one that connects to the chassis, so why do I need to cut the 3 plugs off my sr harness. Ive looked at the frsport guide but it I havent gotten my answer from it. If someone can show me where those three plugs connect to or where im supposed to cut off the three sohc harness plugs id appriciate it.

The lower harness connects to the battery, alternator, starter, speed sensor, oil pressure light and trans sensors.
The plugs you are changing are on the engine harness. Just follow the FRSport guide.

I know but what im trying to figure is which plugs do I remove from my current harness. And where am I to connect those. The lower harness also connects to the plugs on the fuse box atleast mine does.

This is not rocket science.
There is a grey plug and brown plug that plug in by the battery. You take those from the KA harness and attach them to the SR harness.
And then you take the dash plug off the SR harness and install the KA one.

You got a guide with pictures and color descriptions...if you still cant figure it out after all that, go ahead and buy a wiring specialties harness.

youre better off buying a nice brand new wiring specialties harness, I got one for my SR swap and it's heavenly having a nice brand new harness without broken plugs and frayed wires!
