Im having a hard time finding the information I need. I know that it's good to have the plate in between the block and transmission blah blah but I wanna know if the KA's will work as is or with some modifications ? It should be possible since the transmissions are the same besides the bellhousing right ? Please help thank you.

You need a SR20 plate, trying to modify a KA one will be as much effort as creating one from scratch.

your asking about a plate that goes between the bellhousing (that's different mounting to the engine) and the engine. you kinda answered your own question.

If you already have a KA plate laying around, lay it onto the SR BH and mark out where you will need to drill, grind etc. and gauge how easy/hard it will be. I think easy with a drill, vise & dremel.
Also, I will check my stuff later today and PM you if you're in luck- I upgraded to Z32 tranny... I can't remember if I kept the SR plate or tossed it. If I still have it, I will send it to you for free plus whatever the shipping cost is.
