View Full Version : How do you bypass an alarm?
I'm sure west had an alarm when his car got broken into and another guy I know with an eclipse had an alarm and his car got broken into. How is this done? If you lock the car and then unlock it and open the door from the inside (like if you broke a window to get in) the alarm goes off. I'm thinking of putting a cd player in my car (its been sitting on my desk for months) but I don't want it stolen. Is there anything I can do to protect my stuff?

Where is the horn for most alarms located?? Under the hood with wires exposed. They break-in, pop your hood, find the horn and cut the wires, takes about 5 seconds. You may or may not hear the siren for those five seconds, the bad guy waits in hiding to see if your coming out and when you dont he jumps in a grabbs your shit. When your alarm is installed make sure you get a secondary siren hidden under the rear of your car, by the time he cuts the first one and it doesnt go away he will probably bail unless your car is alone in the middle of the desert or something. ALso look into getting a detachable face radio.
