yes i ordered those for him. which rims the mustang one? those were cheaper to get than to buy the tires for my volks, hehe but im looking into more tires now as mines are starting to go down now. ive been meaning to post on here but just been forgetting to.

I installed the Q45 rear end the 3.54 gear ratio. was not a easy task of gathering the parts BTW... love the new gears tho so worth the trouble. also i had been having lots of issues with my borg warner turbo and it crapped out on me so i got a comp turbo thriple ball bearing turbo 7879. ive been having a few issues with oil leaking but this turbo, WHOOOOOOOAA, I get out the car shaking at low boost(24 psi). i also upgraded my ECU to AEM V1 tho still good and since then my car runs better to idk why or how i tune both ecu's the same, well i do know why but the tune is better on the aem do to resolution.

on the last setup the pistons blew b/c of bad wiring connections which caused the injectors to go from rich to lean with moments notice.
and i have the quest alternator, actually every since i went to the quest alternator ive been having issues, thinking about finding another RB alternator if it comes back with issues.

11-14-2014, 09:11 AM
well i started back on the car again. the issue was the valve springs broke and bent some valves. so i had to rebuild my entire head, nothing in there is old. i also did some bowl work and quench pad work aswell. came out pretty nice i must say.

Yes I get the car running again. Had to replace the valves and springs in the head. Cams were to big and bent the valves. Now I am trying to find my big boost leak as I can not get more than 24 psi.

Did you remove the pads for any paticular reason? Any detonation issues Prior?
I still have mine, I'm running 30lbs and made 760whp on my RB25 with rb26 head.
j2fast
04-23-2015, 04:58 AM
Well the main reason I removed them was in 6 cyl was damaged by spark plug tip so to get rid of it I had to cut them out.

those are the ones with the really small electrode on the end right? should just stick with some Iridiums they work great. They a wide variety of heat ranges and they are a resistor plug.
Those are also non resistor plugs, ive seen non resistor plugs cause lots of issues with datalogging EMS issues...
j2fast
04-26-2015, 03:33 PM
Well I had the older style but now I have the newer ones. But I can tell a big diff over the iridiums just at idle

No. Seems real good.
But having some major power issues and can't figure it out. The issues is after driving the car for a lil bit the car looses battery voltage. So I replaced the alternator I had 3 of them replaced and the issue was blowing amp in the alternator. I bought a 200 amp one put it in and the system seems to be working go for a drive and the will run but seems the battery will not stay charged. I replace the battery then 5 min later turned car off and car will not start cuz battery is dead. WTF
