I rebuilt this engine and the ran for around 50 miles and my piston ring wasnt put on correctly so i slowly started to leak oil in there... I took off the head and zip tied the timing chain to the sprocket to keep it in place. Fixed the ring and put it all back together then put the engine in my car for a second time.
Now the car starts up with easy but has a misfire. Noticeable misfire at that.
If it was off a tooth on the chain then it wouldnt start up that easy right? and when i unplug the spark plug wires the car starts to die...
Also when i hit the throttle just a little it will bog. Start to die then go up in RPM. I have a video of it... Im just so lost on this car. anything will help please.

Sounds more like distributor timing is off. When you took it apart, did you make sure to keep it at top dead center?

Also could be a fuel issue. I would recommend renting a fuel pressure tester and testing your fuel setup to make sure an injector isn't sticking open or anything like that.
