I heard MTL redline is really good. But i never tried it before. I need to add/change my tranny fluid also man...gears sound/feel messy. Also, add/change fluid in my defrential. But yeah...check out MTL redline...im thinking of doing it. Or your best bet for a safe and reliable tranny fluid change is just going to Nissan dealership and let them handle it. They know whats up. Might be expensive though. I hope not.

I second Redline. I autoxed a car with it and then driving my car later (with old tranny oil) I felt a little difference in the shifting. Not much, but it's there.

I've got heavy duty shockproof made by redline in my car it works awesome but you have to let it heat up before you drive it because it's hard to get it in and out of gear. This stuff is like pure sludge when cold but has the viscosity of a 75/90 it's awesome.

I've used generic GL-4, Redline MT90, and Penzoil Synchromesh.
Regular GL-4 sucks in comparison to both MT90 and Synchromesh.
Synchromesh is the smoothest shifting (especially when cold). But I wouldn't be surprised if MT-90 protects better and frees up an extra pony or 2 thru less drivetrain loss.

yea myself personally like the synchromesh...i'm using the the GM which are basically the same as i have heard....shifting is defintily smoother now...especially since my tranny is pretty much ready to go, cuz being a dummy i ran Mobile 1 for almost 2 years.....

i would just use MT-90, i don't trust redline enough unless you are a professional racer who rebuilds his tranny every season

Some people claim that royal purple synchromax helped fix minor shift grinding. I've always used mt-90 though. I may give royal purple a try next time though.

This is for the KA transmission, but I have tried both Synchromesh and MTL, and the MTL allows the tranny to shift smoother then the synchromesh. Whatever was in the tranny before I put in synchromesh even worked better then it did.
