Little background of my car its a 93 hatch i got it from a kid that didnt know much about cars and i know this car has had at least 5 engines in it so far so needless to say the wiring was hacked when i got it so far i replaced the dash and front chassis harness and engine harness just to get it to start and fixed the geto battery relocationbut now i ran into the issue of it has a hard time starting. Once it is running if you touch the gas pedal it will instantly die and has a slight miss fire but once the car warms up it runs fine no missfire revs fine im lost what else to check so far iv changed plugs wires cap rotor tried 2 different mafs and checked for vacuume leaks with a smoke tester

I had a problem similar to that with my S13. Where it was run rough when you first started it up, but it didn't cut off like yours is doing. But if you want you can try what I did. I reset the timing and I found out at night that one of my spark plug wires was arching off the heads. So you can check both of you want. If that doesn't work it may be your fuel pump instead, not delivering enough gas to the engine when its cold. But enough to keep it running when its warm. Hope this helps man!

Sounds good, also you might want to check the rest of the wiring sense there has been so many engine swaps. By the way, are you running a turbo?

Know problem man, glad you got it running good. Now you can add a body kit and stance for street style lol! The ka24de is a good engine, I run that engine myself.
