View Full Version : Reasonably priced paint shops in SoCal?

The paint on my E30 M3 has faded and is in need of a respray. Was going to take it down to TJ for a $1k job at a shop the aircooled VW guys swear by but 1) don't want to have my head cut off and 2) theft coverage for Mexico is $500 for two weeks. Add gas and it becomes not very reasonable. There's a guy in NorCal doing $800 two-stage paint jobs for the BMW crowd but I can't seem to find anything down here. Any suggestions?

Great from some angles:

Not so great from others:

first off: super nice e30 m3

have you thought of doing like a maaco paint job? they are pretty cheap, and not too horrible

A car like that deserves more than MAACO or one day paint. Auto Explosion and Quigley's auto body.
