Hi All,
As more and more Silvia owners are converting their boxes over to the Z32 5 speed or the R33 GTS-T box, rebuilding them before they go in are becoming more and more apparent.
I want to engage anyone that can help share some experiences and tips in regards to how they either improved and increased the longevity of the box when it's due to face harsh experiences.
So far from research I have found the following can / will improve performance:
#1: Either change selector gate to series 2, or run a dremel to create a tapered leading edge to assist shifting upwards (if the box is from series 1) (found from aus300zx.com)

#2: Upgrading pivot ball
#3: A QUALITY short shifter, like the Z1 motorsports shifter.
#4: Upgrade to Redline Shockproof Lightweight oil
I have also heard such things as:
#1: Notching every second tooth on the 4th gear syncro to eliminate the common "Z32 4th gear crunch", but I can not confirm if anyone has attempted this.
Anything you can possibly assist to add and share will be appreciated :)
