Ive got a 93 s13 hatch thats completely stock. Its got 140000 miles on it and seems to have been maintained before i got it. Anyways its got some issues. It has a slight misfire every every once and a while. Engine once warm after a cold start idles at 1000 for a few seconds then jumps three or four hundred rpms, and then goes back to 1000. My buddy who had a few 240s thinks it is a vacume leak. My dad and brother are gear heads, they think it could be the fuel injectors. I replaced the plugs to ngk platnums at the right spacing 45. I changed the cap and rotors too. Once i can get the car in the garage i was gonna clean the iacv. My dad said to clean the maf plugs. My dad says he cant hear any leaking vacume lines either so idk. Hes got a good ear.
I havent changed the oil yet. Theres a sticker on my windshield from the previous owner oil chaned at 139000 miles.
My e brake barley works eithier. Any way to make it tighter
Anything else should i check out??

Best way to check for a vacuum leak is take a can of brake cleaner with the straw and lightly spray different areas on the intake manifold. Listen for the idle to go up or down. Wherever there is a leak it sucks in the brake cleaner (flammable) and changes the rpm. Other than that chane your fluids. Anytime I've bought a used car, change the fluids. It's not expensive and it's cheap insurance versus trusting a sticker or what the previous owner says.
Besides all this tho for future reference questions like this are easily answered with google, reading, the search bar etc etc. don't start a new thread for this kind of stuff. Your just gonna get bitched at and flamed for asking the same question that has been asked and answered at least 10 times today on this forum. Not trying to be a dick just trying to give u some anti-flaming advice. The small questions thread is your friend as well. Good luck.

possible bad IACV before replacing, also check if you have air in your coolant system . theres a 10 mm bolt on your cylinder head were the upper radiator hose connects to. air in the system trips your idle, being the IACV operates off coolant temp..

on the misfire check for loose connectors .. especially your fuel injector ones since you changed plugs and everything else already..

Thanks im gonna try some of that stuff tomorro. I forgot to mention that my motors got a aftermarket intake and a catback exhuast. My pops says changing the intake without tuning the car probellly is messing with maf and computer. I dont think the cat matters or not let me know

you should spend some quality time with your dad and brother.......... those are all basic fixes that most gearheads can fix.............. unless you aren't hands on and more of a book guy, ............... oh welcome to zilvia :)

for your ebrake inspect the line make sure its not damaged and that you dont need rear pads. if everything is good you can tighten the slack through a 10 or 12 mm bolt you just have to pull the boot off the ebrake handle. jack the car up and adjust it till theres drag on the wheel at the first or second click up. and no drag when the ebrake is down. normally youd never have to do it

also the intake is not messing with your ecu. unless it has holes in it lol
