Hey guys, I've been searching like crazy but nothing. How can I disable the rear o2 sensor? Took the o2 off because of aftermarket exhaust system w/ straight pipe and I'm tired of looking at the check engine light. I've tried those fancy o2 simulators but no luck either.

I've seen some s2k guys that had a elbow spacer on the rear O2 to turn the light off. The problem is that the computer is looking for the rear O2 signal to mimic the front, just at a lower voltage. The ONLY point to the rear O2 is to monitor cat function. IMO though it's pretty damned pointless to be running around with a KA and no cat or emissions equipment though. That stuff doesn't really cost any power. What's the point of a KA if it isn't legal???

O2 sensor worked fine for me. I did have to leave the sensor connected so that there was a proper current draw on the line. The similator just intercepts the o2 signal.
