I had a CA18DET oringinally in a JDM s13 chassis, did the swap with the PS13 blacktop SR20DET (not notchback). When I turn the key its tunrover fine but the fuel will not fire and crank (there is no pop). I'm still using the CA fuel pump which is working fine.
So far Ive checked the fuel pump (which is priming/sending fuel to the supply into the fuel rain), fresh gas with octane booster, my wiring to make sure my ignition is wired correctly, ignitor, spark plugs, coil packs, fuses (which only one is popped FL45A Alt) , and connectors.
What I have not checked yet: Injectors, ECU being burned up for ignition and all grounds.
Ive got it to start before and it idles fine. When I turn the key I'm not getting the pop of fuel to make it start every time. I get it once out of every 10 tries maybe.
I will try an post 2 videos below of actual startup and one of what it does when it doesn't start up.
If anyone has any answers please help me out. I'm right at completion of this swap and am stuck before leaving Japan soon. :bowdown::bowdown::bowdown:
