I have been wondering:

I'm looking for a triple plate carbon clutch for my sr20, I only find for skylines (when searching for nissan splines clutch) so I was wondering, and most of them are built in with a flywheel. Would the skyline flywheel fit the sr20?
I guess not, so anyone else have a good advice for where to find a clutch I want

thanks

You can order an sr20 flywheel from exedy and swap it on.. Try emailing their tech support about it and they will give you the part number you need to order from one of their dealers. I'm running an sr20 exedy triple disc on my KA by swapping the flywheel, so I imagine it swaps both ways. (KA flywheels are the same as RB flywheels)..

I know for a fact that most JDM clutch companies like OS Giken and ORC use the same clutches (cage, plates) and only swap out the flywheel to make it engine specific. I have an OS Giken TS2B twin plate on my SR20. I ended up getting an RB25 and I re-used the clutch after swapping flywheel. Everything switched over including the TOBs and bearing with no issue.

^ this

OsGiken make excellent clutches and they are easy to handle and not heavy on the foot.

Thank you very much guys.

I'll look into that Orc clutch you posted from RHDjapan.

only thing which is "toobad" is that it isnt carbon, and I really want to get a carbon clutch just to piss my friends at our garage off a little. they mean its no point to have a carbon clutch haha :D
I'll mail a dealer and ask if its possible to upgrade for example the ORC or Giken clutch to using carbon discs

Personally...OS Giken > ORC. Only cool thing about ORC is they have this distinct "SHHHIIIIING" noise on engine start up. Kinda sound like a samurai sword unsheathing really fast.

Triple Carbon is going to unusable on the SR. They simple do not make enough trq to use them. Why spend the money? Are you going to be making 1200hp and drag racing all the time?

I dunno man, seems like a huge waste of money to me. You'll never see it and no one will ever know unless you tell them. I'd go with a twin disc and be done with it. However, it is your car and money...

HAHA...Bling. Only folks who'd have multi-plate clutches can decern the difference between a single, twin, and triple clutches.

Hehe sorry my last comment was a joke :)

I have not decided yet, but its either Orc trple or carbon triple.

I've had tilton Dual and triple plate before and Iæm up for something new.

I got two close mates, each got carbon clutch. one is a 600whp timeattack Alfa Romeo GTV6 and other is a Volvo 940 rallyecar (260 N/A whp)
they both said to me go for carbon. I'll see what happens. I might have to go with some 5" clutch as I now have lowered the engine a lot so I cont know if it would work with a normal flywheel anymore lol D:
