I bought an s14 recently that is tuned on an enthalpy ROM tune, but there was also a nistune type 3 board included with the car.

Now obviously the nistine will be a plug and play affair on a stock ecu, however I'm wondering if I could theoretically use the nistune board with the pre-existing enthalpy ecu. Would this cause any problems? Would there be any benefits?

I think the nistune board replaces the enthalpy one. Can't run both

Ahhhh okay, but I can essentially remove the enthalpy board and use the nistune within the same ecu?

You should be able to, they do things the same way... you may even be able to dump the enthalpy rom to use as base maps for nistune?
