the car: (i have come to the conclusion that Zenki s14's always look bad in pics because of shitty angles, here is an example)

Not uber flush, but looks nice.

Rear coilover clearance is not an issue
http://users.adelphia.net/~mrosswog/images/240sx/coilovers1.jpg
Neither is front clearance. SPL T/C Rods shown with Tein Type FLEX coilovers

You gotta put your stickers in places where no one can see them, after all its pointless unless you are endorsed

Doing things right > ricing out your car. OBX Header (cheap and heard good things about it) , Catco hi flow cat from enjuku racing prewelded and awesome fitment, APEXi N1 evolution full stainless exhaust
http://users.adelphia.net/~mrosswog/images/240sx/catalytic1.jpg

http://users.adelphia.net/~mrosswog/images/240sx/exhaust1.jpg

http://users.adelphia.net/~mrosswog/images/240sx/exhaust2.jpg

http://users.adelphia.net/~mrosswog/images/240sx/header1.jpg

http://users.adelphia.net/~mrosswog/images/240sx/header2.jpg

Fitment of the header was 50%. The piping lined up perfect with the cat, however, the EGR tube was at a slightly wront angle and we ended up buring a hole straight through the stainless tubing with a novice attempt at bending it the correct position. Also the second o2 sensor bung was the wrong size. Thankfully and luckily, i had a reducer that worked.
This thing is loud as fuck at full throttle.
Next step:

Im going to try to get my hands on another subframe, stip it, powder coat it and outfit it with all adjustable arms.

Thanks for looking.

Ya definately get a new subframe, but the car looks nice. You are right Zenkis look a ton better in person, gotta get lower angle shots to make it look good. And repaint the lip , and a little lower :)

Nah, it is the color of your car and spoiler... well at least to me. Sick wheels though.

what size piping is the apex????

can you feel a difference in power with the headers , cat, and exhaust?

how is the sound at lower RPMs....thinking about getting the obx headers...just hope it's not tooo loud..

I love Zenki S14s... just love them. :yum:
You car looks good, clean style, and nice wheels. :)
The only thing I don't like is the difference ins the curve of the wheel spokes between the fronts and rears. I have the same style of wheels, but it doesn't seem as bad... Still, just looking at that makes me think about getting some 9.5s and spacers for the front. Mmmmm mmm bish.

Kidynomite: id like to go lower, but as it is right now, my ride height is the perfect balance of handling, looks and streetability. roads around here are brutal on front lips and low hanging exhausts

silkkysmoo: i agree the bronze are way hotter, but i got a good deal on these silver ones, so i'll rock them just as hard. the car is getting painted dark grey, so it will look sick.

willow: most of the rust is just on the surface... not too bad for an 8 year old year round driven northeast car... winters suck here and the previous owner didnt do much to take care of the exterior or the vehicle as you can tell. Interior on the other hand, is mint!

formerRicer: the apex is 3". now before anyone goes off on saying 3" is too large for NA KA, let me remind everyone that its a proven fact that a turbo sized exhaust is proven to make gains throughout the entire rev range.

The difference in power delivery is not very noticable, maybe because im not expecting to make gains from this. But the engine revs a bit faster and top end feels way smoother. I havent done much high RPM driving because the thing is so damn loud it makes me almost paranoid to let loose.

At idle and cruising below around 2500 RPM, the exhaust isnt loud at all. just a slight rumble. hit the gas or wind it out is a different story. It is definately VERY VERY LOUD at wide open throttle. (keep in mind i even have stock intake) An associate of my brothers described it as the sound of SEVERAL loud ass race cars careering towards him when we went to go rip around in an industrial park as he watched from the side of the road. My brother (mechanic) said its the loudest 4 cylinder he's ever heard, and we've got riced out eclipses with no resonator all over the place here which i think are extremely loud and hideous sounding.

Over all the obx header is a decent piece. After driving less than 1 hour the entire thing turned bright gold in color. My father who is an expert sheet metal worker/ HVAC technician/ installer (owns his company) said it's due to the low grade steel used in the construction of the manifold. We also had to really man handle it into place with the EGR tube connected. I really dont give a shit about this header because its being replaced by *you know what* :x: before the years end (can you say equal length turbo mainfold and disco potato? i can)

kaneks: i weighed the 9.5's on a digital bathroom scale, came out to 19 pounds even

EVERYONE thanks for the compliments and kind words, i appreciate all the help ive recieved from researching on this board. Without Zilvia my car would probably suck hard core.

More pics of a clean car coming tomorrow

My opinion would be wider tires and roll the rear fender. None the less though they're nice. I was checking'em out at the nissan dealer, pricey but nice. I agree with not advertising for free by putting stickers on your car but you still put the sticker on your car eventhough it's in a less visible place. Just kinda kills that concept. :-/

I may need to roll the fenders after i get some RUCA's and run less negative camber. Wider tires are just plain uneccesary. :hs:

and as for the sticker, i just did it because i think it looks good there. no one will see it driving down the street or by looking at my car. I'm competely anti decal/ sticker after seing a "fast and the furious" sticker on the windshield of a silver cavalier. :ughd: no im not joking.
