I have a 1997 240sx that is a 5 bolt pattern. I only had 4 lugs on the rear passenger so i wanted to put on the fifth one on, and did so successfully, now i put on the brakes with the calipers and rotors, and i drove it around my block. I heard an airplane/grinding sound, and went back into my garage asap. I put my face near each of the tires and all of them weren't hot except the rear passenger. I dont know what to do now. I know that for you to compress the caliper you spin it clockwise, but it went about 1.5 cm in about 100 turns. Any feedback is really appreciated.

Sounds like your caliper is seized. You need to go buy two new rear ones and your problem should be fixed.

Oh i have another question, about how many times do you have to spin the piston clockwise for it to become depressed.

Depends on how far its out, new pads maybe one time, old pads I had to turn around 3 or 4. Make sure to replace both rear calipers and not just one, its one of those items like headlights, tires, brake pads etc.

Are you sure the caliper is whats causing the noise and not just the dust cover touching the rotor?

Ill look into all of the suggestions you give to me xD, not in much of a hurry. After i read my posts it seemed as if i was going to buy the calipers asap and install them, but no I'm just trying to read up and see what feed back i get so i can look into all of them. Thank you fliprayzin.

I was thinking the same thing to begin with. But he said it is noticeably hotter so i doubt thats it.
