Today, Finished fixing an oil leak, went to go on a test drive...sure enough out of no where my transmission is acting up
symptom : When I let go of the clutch, it engages instantly so I decided to bleed it... still no fix, decided to flush all the clutch fluid and re-bleed (Verified that the shift fork was traveling the proper distance when pressing the clutch in, also, the clutch pedal feels good, has good pressure against it and comes all the way up...
anyway, even after re-adjusting the engage point on the clutch to the very top, still not wanting to go into gear.
If I force it in, car wants to move forward (and you can hear a clunking noise) like its not disengaging the clutch, now the car doesn't even go into gear, when I try to shove it into gear, you can feel the car want to move forward a bit as your trying to put it into gear..So I drain/refilled Transmission fluid with 2.5 qrts, checked the white shifter bushing and it looks good, With the car off...I moved the tranny into all 5 gears and reverse and sometimes it goes smoothly in, other times you have to force it, the Slave cylinder is doing its job and moving the fork all the way so I can pretty much cross that off the list as its fairly new.
Does this sound like an internal transmission issue, or a clutch issue? Im thrown off since its giving me 2 different symptoms at random times. Im going to take apart the tranny on Tuesday to take a look so I will update the thread when I do but id like to get an idea if I need to scout another tranny or look into getting another clutch.
Thanks in advance
