Well it seems there is an absence of hockey threads, and wow, i just came back from my friends after watchin the flyers win 2nite in overtime...amazing game, and possibly the best overtime period ive seen in long time. Playing hockey for a few years gives you a good perspective on a game, and wow, the intensity in this one was incredible....for all those who missed it...missed out on a incredible game...
Game 7 @ Tampa Saturday at 7 ESPN2!
GO FLYERS!!!! :rawk:
Go Flames!! ;)
It's about time a Canadian team makes it back to the Finals! :)

hahaha, its good to see we take a common ground on Toronto, Flyers took care of those fools..haha
Too much hype over that old team. Can't stand them. I really like Tampa Bay (because of the way they are playing) but I would prefer the Flyers to go through them. Calgary's going to win it all. They have way too much heart in this.

Well as an Avalanche fan I'm disappointed. Good thing I can still root for the Flyers. I grew up in Pa, and worked next to the arena where Colorado's Farm Team played (Hershey Bears). Oh well, GO FLYERS!!! :boink:

I'll be at the Game 7 tomorrow b*tches !!!!!! GO LIGHTNING !!!!!
We are winning 3-2 tomorrow, and then winning the Calgary series 4-2...
Originally from Buffalo, NY, I have always been a huge hockey fan, and play roller and ice hockey myself...It's about time Tampa puts themselves on the map as a great hockey team, and for the Maple Leaf fans, Alexander Mogilny rules...

Another Avalanche fan here... Halo, I'm surprised you're not routing for Tampa with Marten St. Louis being from Montreal and all... He played at the University of Vermont (I saw him play there), and he's got a future ahead of him for sure. I'm routing for the Lightning just because they are a newer team and winning the Stanley Cup would be an awesome achievement for them. Another reason for routing for Tampa is to piss Adam (240Driver39) off, since I know he's all about those Flyers.

hahahha, and thats why your a slut..... lol
Well.. I'm not rooting for Tampa 'cuz they sweeped *MY* team! ;)
Its about time for this thread! I was gonna post it, but the Avalanche pissed me off.
I missed that Game 6 because we went to a friends concert. I saw a few periods when I got home, but went to bed. IMO, Flyers are to big and slow to compete with Tampa Bay/Calgary... even though there proving me wrong. Once again I dont really care who wins because I like Tampa Bay & Calgary. Of course, anyone that knows a bit of past on Khabibulin knows he will fold under pressure, such as game 7 coming up. If I had to choose a team to win it all, id say Calgary simply because they are hungry and Ingila deserves it, 7 years and nothing past the 2nd round of playoffs.
O well, almost time for the most boring season of television... BASEBALL season :( No Hockey, No Football, No Basketball! FUCK YOU BASEBALL!

Vinny Lecavalier is going to lead the Lightning to the Finals tomorrow..
As for Jarome Iginla aka "Il niga" , he is having one crazy season...
it's quite surprising no thread was made. I felt like making one when Montreal came back a 3-1 deficit over the Bruins, but then again, I'm sure I would've offended a lot of people here. :)

dosen't really matter to me, Win or loose I just like watching them play, guess it has something to do with growing up and watching them play in the garden. even went up this past year and watched them slap around buffalo a few times.
Don't we all miss ye old Boston Garden and Montreal Forum. Big corporate arenas suck.

plus the fact that if your in the fleet center and your under 25 with an out of state license, They will NOT serve you beer. WTF Beer is half of the hockey experience....
Woah! At least The Bell Center (aka Molson Center) will sell beer to anyone that is 18 or older. :)

First off i hate the flames......cocky team who beat the red wings. Good, young, and sharp team though. Lightning i hope to see in the finals. Calgary vs. Lightning would be impressive to watch.

well that was a very disappointing 2nd and 3rd period, seems the flyers lost control of the game and although they had a lot of time in tampa's end, they could not get it in front of the net and they didnt put players there to get in the face of habby. For a team down 2-1 goin into the 3rd, the flyers just didnt seem to fight or skate hard to the puck...damn...but, good series, should be a damn good final series.
