Just to let everyone know...my car is a punk ass bitch! A few weeks ago, my car wouldn't start periodically. There was no method to the madness, sometimes it woldn't start, and 30 minutes later it would. Now, about a month after the problem arose, my car is DEAD and will not start no matter what. I just replaced the starter and still, no luck. Does anyone have any sort of clue what is going on here? A switch perhaps?????

And just to let everyone know, there is no problem with the battery, lights along with every other accessory works absolutely fine.

Thanks
-Mike

sounds to me like the starter relay.

My car had the same problem for about a month. The 240sx tends to have bad grounds. My car started one minute then 2 minutes later was dead. If the starter is ok, check all the grounds in your engine bay (should be black wires). I didnt have any bad grounds but the grounds that i had were not getting enough ground.(dont know the term for that) What i did was grounded 2 wires together with a wire that connected both grounds together. After i did this it fired up perfectly. The grounds i grounded together was the ground located by the intake manifold and the ground thats on the passenger side located just above the coolant over flow tank.Hope that helps.
