kill swtch from ECU

Hello fellow members, I've done research.. and I found most of my answers, I just need 1 more answer and I'll be ready to start on this little project.

I found my ecu pinout diagram, I have everything written down on paper except one last thing, Would I have to run a relay coming from the ecu wires under passenger panel? low voltage? no fire dangers? Thanks..


I don't want to get too much into detail, and Please do the same.. too many thieves lurking around, I don't want to compromise anyone's security.

You should probably start by telling us what car and engine you have. The pinout will be quite different between s13 single cam and a sr20. Personally I've always liked putting a kill switch on a ground wire instead of a power wire.

Sorry It's a 96 240sx.... a ground would work too, I'll check into that...
