R33 cluster into S14 (http://www.lmgtfy.com/?q=r33+cluster+in+s14)

if you really need instructions on how to install a practically bolt in cluster.. you shouldn't be working on cars.

You must be confused, it is in no way a plug and play cluster.

I wired mine up myself, but didnt use any write ups on the web.

i traced ever wire from the 14 cluster and matched it to the R33.

But I also made a custom sub harness for mine so I can swtich between S14 and R33 so mine is plug and play.

You can see how i did mine in my "Project RB" thread but I didnt do any wire write ups.

i didnt say it was direct swap. said it was bolt in.

wiring should be a given.

Not to get too technical but its not bolt in either lol

You gotta trim the housing for it to sit right.

180k speedo, 9k rpm tach, built in oil pressure gauge, no ricer white faced gauge trim. He also might have an rb and not want to run a signal converter.

You don't need a signal converter to adjust your tach on a stock cluster for RB (or even JZ) swaps.

180k what? Kph? That's only like 110mph.

9k tach? What engine is he revving that high?

Oil pressure gauge? What makes you think he can wire that up when he can't even figure out the cluster its self? Want an oil pressure gauge? Purchase an aftermarket one.

Ricer white face gauges? That's only the s14 se. Standard s14's have black gauges.

This.

You can probably desolder it to read in mph. Its one of my major pet peeves about my s14, 120 mph Speedometer. Granted I rarely exceed 100 but even my gutless single cam civic speedo goes past that :(
