This what I got to say so hear me out. I went to see the mechanic. To see why in the world my car wobble so #### much on the highway. It turns out 3 shocks are blown, like oil leaking out of them blown. The car right now feels like I cut my springs in a very bad way. Also my exhaust system rattle all over the place.

So anyway I need some help on shocks I know all ready what exhaust system I want. I heard that the KYB GR2 for the s14 are just like stock is that true?  Also heard about tokico (I think that's how you spell it). But they had some problem in the past is that fix? Any other shocks to look for? I want adjustable shocks. What about the Apexi dampers are they much better them schocks and good pair of springs combine?

I really want the Apexi N1 DUAL for my car. Anyone got pictures on a s14? Is it deep and loud or bumble bee loud? Were I live the streets are really bad so how will that affect new shocks. What should I do buy the shocks first or get them both at the same time? If I wait what will happen to the shocks will they break and cause a accident? If I do the shocks my exhaust will sound like shit for a longer time.

Any ideas will be much appreciated. Thanx in advance people?

Well if you feel that your a danger driving with bad shock's do the shocks first. If you wreck your car a new exhaust would be the least of your worrie's <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

do the shocks first u have no choice cuz that in the long run will hurt ur car far worse than the muffler rattling etc.

sounds like your shocks are already gone. i'd replace those first, to be on the safe side. the n1 dual doesn't sound like a bumble bee to me, but i think it still sounds a little too loud for normal driving for me. i'll get it when i get a turbo for the best flow, but for now i have the hks sport r-2.

Yeah I guess it makes sense. I feel like I'll loose control while taking a turn at 70 MPH in highway driving. I hate that F*cking feeling. What about the dampers are they much better them schocks and good pair of springs combine? You know tokico and lowering spring's.

I did a little looking around just know what you people think? Koni, KYB, Tokico who will give handling worthy of auto-X. I want to buy in the next week probably days. Is online buying really safe?

only &quot;damage&quot; &nbsp;if u continue to drive on blown shocks is excessive wear &amp; tear on ur springs and susp bushings. r springs aftermarket or original?? still u should replace shocks now....BAD handling can lead to accidents.
i think the only adjustable shock is Koni....Tokico doesnt list adjustable, only their premium. other option is full coilovers $$$$$ like Apexi etc.
KYB GR2s are good, but if ur autox'ing spend the $$ on Tokico Premiums. if u can $$afford Koni adj...do it! stiff for racing...soft for cruisin.
there was a recent thread for N1 dual pictures AND i thought for a sound bite.....check it out. i have N1 dual but havent put it on yet.....car at paint shop now!

$300 for Konis is for &quot;Reds&quot; - Yellows are the adjustables!! &nbsp;Best price I've seen is $500 on Groupbuy.com. &nbsp;Expect to pay about $550 usually. &nbsp; That is the only adjustable that is US spec.

As for the exhaust - what do you mean rattling? &nbsp; Is it the heat shields on the cat or what? &nbsp; You can remove the heat shields to stop the buzzy rattling (if that's it). &nbsp;Do a search and you will find out about it.

HippoSleek: I did that already. Theirs also an escape on one of the joints in the muffler. &nbsp;Right before the muffler starts. Right under me the exhaust rattles. I had that heat shield remove. &nbsp;I saw the whole resonator shake. I ain't spending a dime an a shity exhaust. I'll get a new one instead. The exhaust sounds evil over 3,000RPM or under heavy throttle.

I went www.nismoparts.com and they cost around $600.00 with out shipping. Any better prices? Who does ?group buy? work?

Check some of the sponsors of this page: &nbsp;PDM, ejunki..., etc. &nbsp;Or go to 240sx.org and look at their list of vendors. &nbsp;I know some of them had them for around $550. &nbsp;I saw them on groupbuy a while back for $500.
